Well, we had to move the candy dish last week from the end table. David figured out how to use a box of puzzles as a step stool and climb up enough to reach the basket and pull it to the edge. I found him running around the kitchen with a Reeses egg in his hand that he was squishing. Then the drool coming from his mouth gave away the real clue -- he had already eaten one. Evidence was the aluminum foil wrapper in his mouth. So I dug it out and unwrapped the second one in his hand and put him in his high chair. Some days you just need to admit defeat and minimize the damages!
